Matte Watch is using July to begin a real celebration by sponsoring digital photo contests that are sure to help you find some hot new ways to use your digital photographs. Our series begins July 5-11, as we start our first weekly photo contest using the theme of scenic photographs. These contests are open to everyone from amateurs to professional digital photo enthusiasts, with details explained in each of our weekly contest postings.

For every week in July, we will pick out 3 top winners from among the weekly participants to be placed in the group of potential monthly winners. At the end of the month, we will award monthly prizes to three people from the list of weekly winners. These additional monthly prizes will be awarded without any extra entry requirements from weekly participants. If we do not have anyone participating in a weekly contest, chances for winning a monthly prize improve for subsequent weeks during July. Monthly level prizes include the following:

First Place Credit for 3 free digital photo treatments made from your own photographs. You can choose to apply your free credits toward a digital plaque, digital award, digitally matted photo, or a digital calendar page for a future month, or one of our own creations from our web site.

Second Place 2 free credits toward digital photo treatments, chosen from the product categories mentioned above.

Third Place 1 free credit toward a digital photo treatment from one of our product categories.

If there are no weekly contest participants, there will be no weekly or monthly prizes awarded. Monthly contest winners may choose to have prizes created from weekly entry photos, or provide new pictures for us to work with. All monthly winners will be notified by email, with their prizes awarded as credits toward their composition selections. Prize credits should be redeemed within 30 days of email notification. If prizes are not redeemed within the 30 day time limit, they will be forfeited and void. At our discretion, completed prize creations may be posted on our site.

With regular monthly participation in our contests, the top 3 winners of monthly prizes will be automatically entered in our yearly prize competition levels. Details of potential yearly contest prizes will be posted in an article describing our yearly contest rewards. If we do not have regular monthly winners, there will be no annual prizes awarded. Your digital treasures are just waiting to be discovered, so enter our contests for your chances to win.
