I, Sean Bagshaw, am an Ashland photographer because of the many phenomenal chances for Ashland photography in Southern Oregon. There exist a ton of locations I might have considered to call home, and a lot of locations I might live. Since arriving in Ashland Oregon to attend  varsity in 1986, I have yet to see another city I would favor to be. Since starting my occupation as a photographer in Southern Oregon I have more reason to locate myself in the Rogue Valley near Ashland. I travel rather a lot to snap in several different regions of the US and the globe, but being a local Ashland, Oregon photographer I always have great openings for photography close by to home. I often go out to photograph in the town or in the nearby lakes and orchards in the beginning of the morning. Spring and fall are my most amazing perods of the year to take Ashland photos.

In April, Ashland is only arriving into its premium spring phase. Between mid April and mid June I make an effort to photograph Ashland or the adjacent locals once or more times a week to keep up with the briskly developiong conditions, flower bloooms and the changeing of seasons. I make several visits to a lot of my best loved areas, for example Lithia Park, The Plaza, Main Street, Emigrant Lake, Grizzly Peak and the surrounding hills.

The sister city connection between Ashland and Guanajuato was formally established in 1969.  I have taken some beautiful pictures in that amazing Mexican city as well.  I am lucky to have been in many beautiful and photogenic places.

While I am always seeking new and disimilar locations to locate amazing pictures I will always remain a southern Oregon cameraman and will continue to take Ashland photographs for a considerable time to come.
