  • Both cameras have a two and a half inch viewing screen and movie capabilities. This model camera is compact and stylish for a camera with so many features. All Casio digital cameras are stylish, but some are a little harder to understand the many menu options.

Those problems may seem enough to talk you out of buying a Canon SD950IS digital, but here are a few more anyway. Photos taken higher than ISO 400 display high noise levels. Camera housing is very susceptible to scratching. Too many blurry pictures for a camera in at this price. Small buttons are awkward for users with larger hands. Steep learning curve with the menus. This camera review and this don’t know what digital camera to buy should help.

Cheaper point and shoots, and even some more expensive point and shoots often have a problem with blurred or soft corners on their photographs. I wouldn’t expect to find that in a Pro Series Digital series camera, but there it is. If your main subject is generally framed in the center of the photo, this shouldn’t be a problem. If however you like to shoot a lot of landscape and big scenery photos, you won’t be happy with the results.

A few other complaints with the Canon SD870IS Digital include. Less than stellar results at high ISO settings. Exposure setting is non adjustable. Far too many photos exhibit red eye subjects. Shooting videos restricts manual adjustments of focus and zoom settings.

The biggest concern when it comes to digital cameras is the quality of the image they can take. The DSCW200 doesn’t exactly have a stellar performance in this department. On paper, the camera looks great, with 12 megapixels, but this is way too much for an ultra compact.

Panasonic digital cameras problems are few, but there are some problems that might be worth considering when you are looking for a digital camera. The DMC-LZ7 has a small viewfinder, which many users have said is very hard to use. If you are buying a camera for taking clear and precise pictures, this might be a downfall for this particular digital camera.

Many users report that it is hard to learn about all the features that the camera has available. Although these problems are minor, you will want to consider any of these problems before buying a specific camera.

It’s just too much for an ultra compact digital camera, so ignore the marketing here. Those that use ultra compacts will either upload the photos to Facebook or Myspace, or they will view them on the LCD directly. This can be accomplished with a 6 megapixel camera easily. With 12 you can get a very large photo, which is something that people will never get to use.

  • You will want to compare these cameras before deciding which one is right for you. The prices vary and some come with a lens, but some come as just a body. You have to consider the lens price when buying any SLR camera. You will find that your digital images will look lifelike when you use a SLR digital camera. This buying a digital camera tips 2009 and this digital camera online store should help.

Using them however is only easy if you know what camera you should buy. The manufacturer is the minimum of information you should have, and if possible the model as well. Otherwise it’s hard doing proper research.

Digital SLR With Fixed Lens. On these digital SLR’s, the versatility is limited by the fact that you can’t change the default lens. The mirror that bounces the light towards the viewfinder is nonmoving and semi-transparent in most of these models. One example of a camera with fixed lens is the Olympus E-20N

Unfortunately, you might have a few problems finding good reviews or positive reviews for the SVP line of cameras. You need to be very careful when looking at this particular make of camera.

When you need to see SVP digital camera reviews before buying one, you should look at user reviews, specifications, warranties, refund policies and where the camera is made. Customer service in far away lands may be hard to reach. Have a checklist ready, so you can do side-by-side comparisons of any cameras you are thinking about buying.

Camera similar to SLR’s. Cameras that look like digital SLR cameras are usually digicams that have either an optical finder or a small LCD. You can’t consider them as digital SLR cameras since the mirror is missing, and the quality of the photos isn’t even close to what you can do with a true SLR. Usually, this type of camera has a very long zoom, and another name for them is magazooms or ZLRs.

If the Nikon D80 came with as many features like the XSI, I probably would’ve gone with it. I’m talking about features like a sensor that is self-cleaning, highlight tone priority and bundled VR lens.

The Zoom cameras have the larger viewing screens and an extended battery life. The Hi-Zoom cameras have more zoom capabilities and are stylishly slim.
